Incorrect answers on multiple correct questions have negative consequences for student score.
If the logic were otherwise, students could choose all options for every multiple correct question to ensure a perfect score.

Did the student select any wrong answers? If you can send me the XML and let me know what the students' answer for that question, I will take a look. Thanks.

See on our production system:
1) An instructor created a test with several multiple correct questions with 2 correct answers worth 5 points.
2) For one of the questions (and only 1) students who got 1 right are given 0 instead of 2.5
Not sure how to reproduce or trouble shoot
