New JIRA created to address the PDF issue: SAK-40060.

I was wrong, mathjax is enabled in Sakai 13 (Site Info -> Manage Tools).

It works fine but the 'Download PDF' option due to mathjax is a javascript library which is not able to work in a PDF document as told. Regards,

Raúl

We were reported this also (only the pdf issue). It works nice for us in HTML (on 11.4).

And I don't think this can be fixed for downloaded pdfs as MathJax is a javascript library that parses HTML to render formulas. I haven't heard of a way to do this in a pdf document, but if you find one please tell me.

It works in our Sakai instance (Sakai 11.3 and Firefox) using the following text in the 'Print preview' page (option 'Print') and it works after using the 'Print HTML' option too. It does not work after downloading pdf:

\(z= -\sqrt {3}+ j\) A. |z|=2, Arg(z)=5\(\pi\)/6 B. |z|=2 , Arg(z)=\(\pi\)/6 C. |z|=1, Arg(z)=5\(\pi\)/6

Our mathjax settings are:

portal.mathjax.src.path=cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/mathjax/2.7.0/MathJax.js?config=TeX-AMS-MML_HTMLorMML,Safe portal.mathjax.enabled=true

Cannot test in sakai 13 because mathjax is not enabled.
