Tests & Quizzes - Student Audio Response - Win 8/ IE 11

Description

Upon taking an assessment as a student, there is a problem when using IE 11 as a student.

First issue is that the navigation bars on the left and top of screen appear, allowing the popup window to navigate to other addresses. The chat bar is also apparent.

Second issue is that, after the browser asks for permission to use the camera/microphone (using flash), the screen goes black, and does not allow any recording to happen.

Could you please verify if this is an issue in other browsers in Sakai 12?  If so, please provide testing steps.

The latest versions of the following browsers should probably be tested:

  • Windows Edge

  • Safari

  • Chrome

  • Firefox

  • Mobile Chrome

  • Mobile Safari

Small percentage of users using this combination Win 8/IE 11. Consider testing with other browsers and os's and compare.
