Clear all notifications/icons upon tool reset

Description

From on August 21, 2015 16:15

Resetting the tool should clear all existing notifications/icons and reload relevant notifications/icons (i.e., concurrent edit notifications/icons should be cleared).

E.g., http://www.screencast.com/t/kBEL3DO7

Latest successful changes should also be pushed to other users.

This issue was imported from github issues. The use of Github issues as a bug tracker was an experiment with the GradebookNG (now just called Gradebook) tool development, released with Sakai 11. The information here may not be 100% accurate, please update or comment if any of the fields need updating.

Hi @steveswinsburg. I've worked through the solution described above, namely I've added a timestamp to the isAnotherUserEditing API call to return only cell changes made after that time and the JavaScript creates this timestamp upon the first page loading – https://github.com/steveswinsburg/gradebookNG/compare/master...payten:fix-for-sticky-concurrent-edits

I noticed that the scores are still being cached upon page refresh, is it still on the cards to pull back the latest on refresh? I think this solution relies on the scores being updated upon page refresh. Alternatively we could create this timestamp upon tool / cache reset.. that would be possible right?

Won't Fix
