Sitestats - Lessons: number of pages is incorrectly calculated when Sitestats is added after a site has lessons activity

Description

In Site Stats the Lessons tool panel states incorrect number of total pages are present. The number stated on the front page of site stats doesnt match the number of pages seen by visiting lessons and clicking on "index of pages" nor does it match the number shown in the "full report" when the "By Page" tab is clicked once the Lessons Stats panel is opened.

We wonder whether deleted or orphaned pages are being counted as it does not happen on every site.

This was a dependency for a blocker so merged for 12.1

I worked on this JIRA and I can still find the same issue that the number of pages on site stats is not matching the number of pages on the Index of pages in lessons tool. Attached are the screenshots for the same.
