Assignment with hidden due date still visible in gradebook (if linked)

Description

If assignment is linked to gradebook (feature in SAK-24338) the grade could still be visible in a linked gradebook item. Since gradebook can't currently hide due dates, the easiest fix might just not be to send the grade if the item is hidden.

I'm not sure how often this feature is used so marking this as minor priority.

I just came across this bug in Sakai 12.6, using Gradebook NG.  

Tool due dates for this program's Sakai sites are set way in the future, in master sites (~2050).  These sites are copied into active sites over many terms and due dates are specified in Lesson and instruction text to reduce the need for making setting updates.

When QAing the site, I noticed that while all due dates are marked as hidden in Assignments, they show in Gradebook.  Because it is a linked item, I'm unable to remove the due date text from the field in Gradebook.

Does this affect Gradebook (GradebookNG), Gradebook classic (old Gradebook 1) or both? Since the affects version is Sakai 10, I'm assuming Gradebook classic. Doing some Jira component cleanup. Thanks.
