chat new messages don't show until refresh

Description

Presumably this is due to the morpheus update. If you add a message in chat it doesn't show until you refresh. Probably the name of the element that needs to be refreshed by the javascript changed.

Tested on http://qa01-sakai.marist.edu:8080/portal/
Chat messages are displaying properly without refreshing the tool.

Just put in a PR for it. Will definitely require some more looking into due to JS changes and the timer still being a little wonky, maybe someone with more JS experience can confirm for me?
