My large class has 305 users, 60 groups, 50 forum topics.

I think we're seeing these issues in 2.9.

Any objections to me adding 2.9 to the affects by inference?

I don't see any commits specifically associated with this ticket to merge, so removing merge flag.

The resolved subtasks are already in 10.x

Should we flip this to verified then, and get it merged into 10.1 (at leaf 2 of the 3 sub-tasks)?

My testing using Yourkit shows a 7000% improvement after applying the patches in these two sub-tasks
