The icon in the Profile navigation is missing for the current page. Am attaching screen shots.
To reproduce: Log in and click on Profile Current page = My Profile; icon is missing for My Profile Click on Connections Current page = Connections; icon is now missing for Connections
Yeah I've been meaning to bring this in to line for a while and this was the approach I'd take too, so thanks for the patch. Note that it needs a minor tweak to fix notifications if there are new connection requests or messages. I'll get to that shortly.

Any objection to me committing the attached patch that will make Profile2 use the standard Sakai menu (no icons)?

Yes, confirmed, it's really difficult to get the icons to display because of the !important rules declared in the neo-portal.
So another question: should Profile2 be doing its own style of menu that is distinct from the majority of Sakai tools? If no, I have attached a simple patch to move to the style used by other tools....
This is a regression, the problem does not occur in Sakai 2.9.2 RC 1 (https://sakai-29.rutgers.edu/portal)
