I think this isn't solved on trunk and probably wasn't back then as I don't see big changes on that part of the code. Can anyone confirm/deny? Thanks.

If this works in trunk, then I'm marking this as resolved, but looking for the relevant code to merge to the 10.x branch.

This problem happens again in Sakai 10.0 and 10.x
It does not happens in trunk. Trunk is fine.

make site types from SiteTypeProvider show up in the Worksite Setup tool site creation page (Revision 117190)
Result = SUCCESS

fixed in r117190. Now the site types from SiteTypeProvider can show up.
fix checks for permissions for allowing course/project/portfolio site type creations. However, this prevents any site type provided from SiteTypeProvider from showing up in the site creation page.
