A faculty member using Sakai at our institution has requested the ability to incorporate or to create "Sticky 'Post-It' Notes" to the My Workspace area to act as reminders for personal use. I spoke to her and she mentioned that she leaves a web browser open to Scholar (Sakai) all the time on her computer and would love to have the ability to centralize everything into one place like that, especially given how she uses Sakai for courses, collaboration, and personal storage/reference materials.
