QA Test
on smartsite-dev
Submitted final grades from site b4be6ba2-90ef-445b-8ba6-b97299a252b5 BBB 111 111 WQ 2011
looked in the dev schema SAKAI_EVENTS table and found the "gradebook2.submitFinalGrades" event record for the site for the time I submitted the grades. The REF field ("/gradebook2/b4be6ba2-90ef-445b-8ba6-b97299a252b5/count/4") includes the siteid and the number of grades submitted. The CONTEXT field contains the siteid.

DEV server
SmartSite@UCDavis - 2.6.4.4 - Sakai 2.6.2 - Server "ucddev1"
gb2 v1.5.0-a1
TESTING PROCESS -
site VME 465 001 sq11
1 – added me as IOR
2 – as me, inactivate all but 1st 5 students
3 – created gb no cats/points and added 2 items and 1 ec item
4 – graded the 5 students EXCEPT did not grade ec for last 3 (test grbk- 676 maybe)
5 – selected tools-submit final grades
6 – message popup to confirm – "Grades will be transferred to the Online Grade Submission (bubble sheet) page for 5 students. Are you sure you want to submit the final grades." selected yes.
7 – got “submitting” and then new blank page. & connecting to cmdev.ucdavis.edu.
8 – got connection timeout – server taking too long to respond. tried again repeatedly…no luck. but I'm not authoized to submit final grades anyway...
9 – BUT view history log shows date, time, action submitted “grade” for the 5 graded students. so I assume 806 passes.
10 – AND I didn’t get an error about an alert is presented to the instructor when extra credit has not been completed by students. so maybe 676 does also?
QA RESULTS -
pass I think.
can someone confirm if this is what you want and then close this?

The patch includes a count of submitted grades... timestamp, and event creator were already part of the deal
We don't post an event in Sakai_Events to log the grade submission event.
