released Item statistics showing incompletely for students, being visible for some items but not for others, and all the items are set up identically.

Description

A weighted categories/points gradebook with several items in several categories.
The gradebook level settings include, in the display to students section:
ShowReleasedItems: true
ShowMean: true
ShowMedian: true
ShowRank: true
ShowItemStatistics: true

two of the categories have graded items, and both are set to equally weighted items.
Five gradebook items are set to release grades to students (1 in the first category, 4 in the second)

In the Statistics display for the gradebook, the instructor can see statistics for all graded and released items.

Problem: When the student view is used, the statistics for two of the released items are visible (in the category with four released items), but the statistics are not displayed for the other three items.

Environment

firefox, chome, IE were tested.

QA Test

check statistics comparing what a students sees versus what the IOR sees.

checked several sites and compared results between smartsite-dev and smartsite264 and production
I could not get one to fail to show statistics in the -dev system.
