QA TASK:

Verify Block Import of Percentage Gradebook.

QA TEST PLAN:

Export all four versions of GB2 files from a Categories/Percentages GB2 on a course site.

Attempt to import each file in turn onto another course site, with GB2 pre-set to Categories/Percentages but otherwise unused.

Result in each case should be a warning message "Sorry, importing of a percentages grade book is not implemented" & the Import is blocked.

QA SUMMARY:

Export site: QAQC GB 2 001 FQ 2009

Intended Import site: QAQC 010 001 FQ 2010

1) Grades & structure csv file: Import blocked, with warning, as expected, QA Pass.

2) Grades & structure xls file: Import blocked, with warning, as expected, QA Pass.

3) Grades only csv file: Import blocked, with warning, as expected, QA Pass.

4) Grades only xls file: Import blocked, with warning, as expected, QA Pass.

Verified Block Import of Percentage Gradebook, QA Pass.

Overall, QA Pass.

TESTING PROCESS -
1 - created new site BBB 123 123 f10. participants as usual
2 - set up gb as no categories, % grading
3 - added 3 items
4 - exported structure to xls
5 - created new site CCC 123 123 f10, participants as usual
undefined gb
6 - attempted import of xls structure from BBB
7 - got "sorry, importing of a percentages grade book is not implemented" - ok
8 - repeat import attempt after changing CCC to % gb
9 - same error message - ok

QA RESULTS -
looks like a PASS to me

The way this is implemented, we stop a percentages gradebook from importing if its final type, determined by structure if present in the import file, or if no structure what the gradebook's type is at time of import is a percentages gradebook.

We will display: "Sorry, importing of a percentages grade book is not implemented. " when we find that the gradebook(either because it is, or because the import file will make it) a percentage gradebook.
