If negative grade in GB - chart will not render

TEST PROCESS -
ie8 and firefox
*graded assorted items w/positive grades and checked statistics page - statistics appear
*graded item for person 1/very negative number
*course grade disappears, even if there are grades for other items, until other points add up to the negative number
*removed negative grade and recorded statistics
*added very negative (greater than other points total) number and checked statistics. seem to update properly.
*edited to negative number slightly below other points total. statistics updated.
did NOT do math.
RESULTS -
? pass as at least statistics appear to update to reflect negative number grade.
need confirmation from Thomas that this test is correct.

For now, we don't chart negative point grades. I will see how we can do that at a later point using a new JIRA ( )

Adjusting the REST call so that it returns a two dimensional integer array containing positive as well as negative number grade frequencies. We have to experiment a bit with how we show/graph the negative frequencies if we choose to do so.
If you have a gradebook with negative numbers in grades the chart will not render properly (see attached).
