Description

select a new item for editing in the tree panel (double click)

save and save close are enabled and should not be... selecting either creates an unnecessary andand ineffective update roundtrip with the server.

double clicked on existing item – save and save/close buttons are not enabled until a change is detected.

Note that if you open the new item panel, the Add and Add/Close buttons are enabled even though nothing has been entered into the name field – using one of them gets a create error: "... The name field is either empty or contains invalid characters.". Until something has been entered, the Add and Add/Close buttons shouldn't be enabled.
