This seems to be an issue for a lot of browsers and is not only limitted to the studen view, but also to the multigrade view. I think that the upcoming GXT v2.3.0 release will address some of these issues.

When viewing scores in IE8 student view the headings do not line up with the scores. See screenshot attached below. The formatting is correct in Mozilla Firefox.
