Seems to be fixed in 5.1.7 .... at least that is my report, and I am sticking to it.

This seems to be fixed in the upcoming 5.2.x Safari release.

@Jon: Yeah, not sure what's goiong on with Safari/PC. Note that I didn't spend a lot of time testing, just looked at GB2 on an active course site using Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on both WinXP and Mac, and Safari didn't display the data on either OS. I had originally assumed that it only affected Safari/Mac until I read a report from a user on Safari/PC and did a quick test to verify.

Thanks Jon, actually the site I was working in with Safari is based on straight points, no categories/weights. Unfortunately it's not issue https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/GRBK-1201#icft=GRBK-1201 which we have actually seen as well.
Here is another neat trick to try to get the student list to appear... temporarily. Enter the Gradebook Setup page and then simply Save/Close. The list of students appears (in our instance at least). Grades may be entered now until a reload/refresh is performed at which time the students disappear again. This only happens with Safari so far as I can tell.
Not sure if these actions I performed resultwith same conclusions in your instances of Sakai.
Like the others have mentioned, we advise our users to use Mozilla Firefox

@Jimmy: thanks.... take a look at GRBK-1201, which is in code-review right now. ... looks like that is a workflow problem and prob. not related to the Safari issue (this ticket) per se.

This instructor upgraded to the latest release of Safari 5.1.4 and it appears to break Gradebook2 functionality. I've confirmed the issue on my end when SU'd and non-SU'd as the user to the HYD 146 site. Oddly enough Firefox and Chrome appear to be just fine.
