PROD and DEV work the same.
and as/Mike -
So then this is not a problem with 1.6, but with 1.5 (and likely caused way back.) I would create a JIRA associated with 1.5 and the 1.6 tag you found it on.
DEV
SmartSite@UCDavis - 2.7.2-rc3 - Sakai 2.7.1 - Server "ucddev1"
gradebook2 v1.6.0-b4
if you import an item into a letter grade site, graded in points in the spreadsheet (like a scantron or clicker) and the item is NOT valued @ 100 points
1 - the point value of the new item shows correctly in the import preview screen
2 - import preview shows everyone graded on a 100 point max - WRONG
3 - @ import, gb grades it based on a 100 point max regardless of preview showing points correctly, so everyone's grades are incorrect.
eg: if the item has a max value of 10, all will get an F - WRONG
if the item has a 200 point value, everyone over 100 points will get an A+ - WRONG
