Reordering items in template doesn't seem to be "sticking"

Description

I am trying to reorder now using drag and drop so that I can click the "save order" button. The order is still not staying. I did the following more than once:

1. Open template to edit (Template-Reordering-1.jpg) - please note the numbering goes from 1, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6
2. Move the grouped item 4 up to position 2 (Template-Reordering-2.jpg) - please note the numbering becomes fixed at this point.
3. Click Save Order
4. Go out by clicking My Templates
5. Click Edit next to template name (Template-Reordering-3.jpg) - back to the original order with the numbering off 1,3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6

I should note that when I created this template, I added each item one at a time to the template, then began grouping them. I do have hierarchy turned on - all items in the template are assigned to the same hierarchy node.

Sorry for not updating - semester startup craziness!

We had to update something - I think the Entity Broker and now things are working. Thanks!

Jira for giving feedback if the save does not work

This is related to the reordering bug within evals and the work in is to solve this bug.

So far out testing has solved this issue (although we are still going through more QA). Did you update the entire evals tool? The UI now depends on some Entity Providers to save the new order. (That reminds me I should stick in feedback if the save does not work).

Confirm that you have all needed files by heading over to {yourserver}/direct/eval-templateitem/describe and note that there are 2 Custom Actions defined on that page. These are: template-items-reorder and modify-block-items.

I should add that I was testing with hierarchy turned on but have also tested with hierarchy turned off and it is doing the same thing.
