After discussion with Aaron & Lisa, our strategy is to add a success message to whatever page the user lands on (dashboard or seperate listing of evals). We'll have 2 success messages, 1 for if they submitted and 1 for if they saved.

Submission message: "Thank you for submitting your evaluation response! Your input will help us improve and recognize good teaching."

Save & complete: "You have saved your evaluation for completion later. Please make sure to come back, complete and submit your evaluation so your input can help us improve and recognize good teaching."

Okay - unfortunately, I'm not familiar with these work flows. Wow - this is monster app! When a user uses a direct link to access the evaluation, where do they end up after submission? The best case is that the user always get a "success" message letting them know the system status (either submitted or saved) but that isn't modal requiring an extra click to complete the task. Seems like we need to have a conversation about this one. I'll ping Aaron.

I think this can be done but the level of effort is a bit higher (probably in the .5-1 day range). Also, Submit doesn't always take users back to the dashboard so what should we do in the case where they submit (like for a link coming from outside the system) and do not end up on the dashboard? Is it OK to not notify them in that case?

On a side note: issues with various ways to access the evals including methods where there is no navigation and the user does not go to the dashboard on submit are why things tend to be handled on this screen only
