Student synoptic calendar in Dashboard does not show events

Description

As Student, in Site home page all Calendar events are shown and details can be viewed. Navigating to Dashboard, no events are visible from any Sites.

To Reproduce:

  1. As instructor, create a site and add several Calendar events

  2. As student, go to course site. Note events are shown in Home screen

  3. Navigate to Dashboard

  4. No events are shown

I followed the same instructions above and had the same problem. When I signed on as a student I did not see any events from my dashboard. I was using Safari 9.0

Returned to Dashboard half hour later, events from one site are shown but not the other.
