When rotating the mobile device from portrait to landscape orientation, interface does not resize correctly

Description

When rotating a phone from portrait to landscape view, the UI does not resize correctly. It resizes too large, leading the interface to continue off the right edge of the phone. This can be worked around by manually resizing. Ideally the UI would resize correctly.

This is true on iPhone 4S, but not on Windows and Android. Is this a function of the smaller resolution for a particular phone?
