  • Resources Viewer:
    • Had to put it on the back burner, still does not meet its intended purpose.
    • Outstanding issue is that you can't have multiple Resource Viewers. This can be fixed with a setting in sakai.properties
    • We can get this running on the nightly contrib server.
    • Action Item: Mike will talk to John Ellis about getting Resources Viewer on the contrib server
  • Maintenance Branch
    • will continue to get trunk fixes applied to 2.4.x, until conflicts grow to the point where we decide to stop
    • already taking advantage of the new "target" field to make it easier to separate the different stages of work
  • 2.5 Preparations
    • We're on target
    • Some of the dropbox issues need to have JIRA items created
    • Action Item: Jim will create JIRAs for remaining dropbox feature changes
  • Fluid Collaboration
    • Between the JCR work, the Fluid project walkthroughs, Resources viewer, and our recent attachment helper conversations, there are a lot of opportunities for cooperation.
    • The Resources WG is interested in supporting Fluid work in the content management area.
    • If anyone is interested in helping out with the walkthroughs, contact Daphne. It's happening now, so the timing is good. Fluid not so interested in the Resources tool silo as such ... but then neither is the Resources WG.
    • Harriet will be talking to Daphne in an upcoming trip to SF, during which she will pointedly not be stopping over in Michigan
    • Clay and Kathy will be at the Fluid summit at the end of September
    • Three other areas where we might have overlapping goals:
      • The Resources Viewer
      • Attachment helper tasks
      • Shifting the Resources presentation layer to a "Fluid seal of approval" technology
    • Daphne will let us know if there's something they need from us wrt the Resources Viewer to take a look at that as well
