CR Testing Guide

Initial Setup

The current implementation of Conditional Release is available in Sakai trunk and in the 2.7.x branch. In order to test the CR functionality, the following initial setup is necessary:

1. The following Sakai property must be set prior to startup: conditions.service.enabled=true
2. A site should be created with the Resources tool and the Gradebook tool.
3. You need at least three users in the worksite: the maintainer and two "students," so you can compare their access to resources.

1. While adding a resource to the site, click "Add Details for this Item"
2. You should see the additional UI for conditional release below "Show this item"
3. If there are no items in the gradebook, "Only if the following condition is met" checkbox must be disabled and an explanatory message should appear below it
4. If there is at least one item in the gradebook, a select menu of conditions should be available
