Briefly, the following issues were highlighted as important to Sakai Internationalization (in no particular order):

  • Locale-specific courses and worksites (with precedence over student preferences) (SAK-10393)
  • Locale-specific date/time widget (SAK-7000)
  • Further localization of page and tool titles (SAK-7311 & SAK-8308)
  • Locale-specific emails (req: ResourceLoader: locale query by user) (SAK-10392)
  • Locale-specific forms (SAK-10382)

Additional discussions:

  • Having a "freeze" on properties files (text) would help translation efforts
  • Having a subversion branch for properties files would also help translation efforts (alternately, more broad commit rights to the properties files)
