Description

Most of today's undergraduate students don't know a world without computers and may have never seen a chalkboard in their lives. How do we create presentations for these learners and help them understand and retain our content? In this presentation we will summarize research on short-term and long-term memory, details on 21st century learners, and the techniques we can adopt to create powerful and memorable lectures – for all learners. We will also highlight and compare presentation software, including PowerPoint, Prezi, and Timeline 3D.
