To create an Assessment Type:
- In the menubar, click Tests & Quizzes.
- On the Assessments page, click Assessment Types.
- Under "New Assessment Type", in the "Title" field, type a name for your Assessment Type, and then click Create.
- Under "Edit Assessment Type", you'll see a list of settings. To reveal the options for a setting, click its name or the triangular icon next to it. Then, check the boxes to select the settings and options that you can edit. Also, some of the settings have default values that you can set. For information on the settings and options available, see the Assessment Type settings section below.
- When you're finished, click Save. You will see your Assessment Type listed under "Saved Assessment Types".
