Basic Info. window

  • The Basic Info modal window would sometimes lose focus and allow JAWS to parse the document outside of the modal window scope.
  • Clicking on "Edit personal information" link puts focus to "clear" link, well above edit fields and controls. Sometimes this action would
result in JAWS reading in continuous mode outside the modal box and I would have fiddle around trying to find the modal window.
  • "Edit personal information" screen reader link does not match visual heading "Basic Information".
  • Birth date text entry read as "read-only edit". The SR user has no idea they are on a click-able element that activates the date picker.
  • Calendar icon graphic is announced as "graphic select your birth date. You can control the display of your birth year". Clicking on the
graphic results in getting bounced out of the modal area.
  • If for some reason you knew you activated the date-picker, it would not be announced and you couldn't manipulate it with the keyboard.
  • After saving changes, the date-picker tool remains open. Odd, but not really an accessibility issue.

Tiny MCE editor

  •  A lot of garbage is announced when traversing the Tiny MCE editor tool menu. We probably have no control over this.

Personal Info. window

  •  Text-entry fields are not labeled.

Adding Connection

  •  Resultant Resultant modal window is not announced "profile frame" after clicking "Add as a connection" link. Text and controls are not apparent. No way to add connection with a JAWS/IE9. (Interestingly, it does work in MacOS 10.7/VO)Focus is on "add connection" but not announced. Arrowing down announces "cancel" button. Must arrow up to get to rest of information on the modal window.

  Preferences

  •  When saving Privacy and Preferences settings, nothing is announced.
