Figured I’d provide an update that this fix has persisted, and that this test plan works in 23x and 24x.

OK, this time the archive was zipped and exported and I was able to create a new site with it using the test plan above. The announcement was turned into a draft, but that’s probably for the best and expected. The Lesson text and Resource came through exactly the same. (Mac/Chrome, )

I tried this (Mac/Chrome) for 21.x. I got the message that the site had been archived, but it was not on the list of archived sites when I looked for it. So I couldn’t download it to continue the test.

Tested on 21.3 server and new site is created as expected with text in lessons, a drafted announcement and a file in resources.

Not sure if I have the components correct.
With a valid archive file (worked for Site Archive > Import), as an admin trying to create a new site from an archive zip fails. It may be the same issue SAK-45062, except for the admin there is a server error and for I did not see any server errors.
