OpenSyllabus (shortly called OSYL) is a is a Rich Web Editor aimed at creating and editing easily and in a structured way course Syllabus.

In this section, you will learn how the Sakai platform could be combined with the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to build fast "desktop-like" (or Web 2.0) applications that run in a browser.

We will explain how OSYL has been integrated as a normal Sakai tool.

You will also learn how to take advantage of Java tools like Eclipse to allow state of the art software engineering.

Many of the information presented here that originated from a former presentation done in July 2008 at the 9th SAKAI Conference in Paris, France.
