Create a group

1) Click the 'Create a group...' button on the Google Groups Home page.

2) Name your group, write a group description, and choose and access level.

3) Enter email addresses of people to invite and write an invitation message or add members directly.

4) View your group.

Add members to a group

1) You can add members when you create your group, as shown above.

2) You can add members after you have created your group by clicking the Invite Members link on the right side of your Groups page.

View group information

1) If you search for and view a group, you can click the About this Group link to view information about a group.

Find a group

1) Search for a group from the Google Groups Home page.

View/browse groups

1) View/browse groups by drilling down into the provided categories on the Google Groups Home page.

Join a group

1) After you've found the group you want to join either by searching or by browsing, you will then have the option to either: Apply for group membership or Subscribe to this group. The owner or manager can require membership approval, which is why you would see the Apply for group membership link.

Invite to group > Acceptance into group

1) You can invite users to your group when you create the group or you can add users to your group once the group is created as shown above.

2) Once you have invited users to your group, they will receive a confirmation message that includes a link to join your group. Upon clicking the link, the user will be subscribed to your group.
