Membership Accessibility Walkthrough Script

This walkthrough is for the student persona.

Start of Walkthrough Script

Login and Access Tool

  • Login with as user "armemstudent" and the standard password.
  • In the tools list (accesskey "Alt+l"), activate the "Membership" link

Determine Sites Currently a Member Of

  • In the "My Current Sites" listing, determine sites the user is currently a member of (Should be 3)
    • AR-M Winter Project
    • AR-M Spring Project
    • AR-M Summer Project

Unjoin Sites

  • Select the "AR-M Spring Site" and "Unjoin" it.
  • You should notice a "Are you sure you want to unjoin the following sites?" message.
  • Verify the site you selected "AR-M Spring Project" is listed.
  • Use the "Unjoin" button to really unjoin the site. You should see a message that says "You are no longer a participant in site AR-M Spring Project"

Determine Sites Still a Member Of

  • In the "My Current Sites" listing, determine sites the user is currently a member of (Should be 2)
    • AR-M Winter Project
    • AR-M Summer Project

Join a Site

  • Activate the "Joinable Sites" link on the Membership tool's action bar.
  • In the listing of Joinable Sites, find the "AR-M Fall Project" site and join it. "You should notice a message that says "You are now a participant in site AR-M Fall Project"

Confirm Newly Joined Site in List of Current Sites

  • Activate the "My Current Sites" link on the Membership tool's action bar.
  • In the "My Current Sites" listing, determine sites the user is currently a member of (Should be 3)
    • AR-M Winter Project
    • AR-M Summer Project
    • AR-M Fall Project

Logout and End of Script

  • Logout of Sakai

Pre-Walkthrough Setup

This section documents how to create the necessary content to perform the above walkthrough script. It is not part of the walkthrough itself. It is expected that a person with the ability to log into the QA server with admin rights will create this content before the walkthrough takes place.

Create Two Users:

  • armemstudent01
  • armemstudent

Create Project Sites

  • Log in as armemstudent01
  • Create 4 project sites
    • AR-M Winter Project
    • AR-M Spring Project
    • AR-M Summer Project
    • AR-M Fall Project

Setup Participants

Add user "armemstudent" to the these three sites:

    • AR-M Winter Project
    • AR-M Spring Project
    • AR-M Summer Project
