Instructors/Site Owners:
- Users with the gradebook.gradeall and/or gradebook.gradesection permission(s) will have the ability to add and change comments
- Users will have the opportunity to comment on a per student, per assignment basis.
- Comments will be entered via a textarea field with no limitation on the amount of characters that can be entered.
- Users will have the opportunity to save changes to comments or to cancel changes, which will revert the change to the previously saved comment.
- The export will include comments per student, per assignment.
Students/Site Participants:
- Comments will be available immediately upon Save, unless the gradebook or the assignment has not yet been released.
Not Supported:
- Versioning at the UI level is not supported. Comment histories may be tracked in the database.
- Comments by users without the gradebook.gradeall and/or gradebook.gradesection permission(s) are not supported.
