Screenshots showing implementation of CitationList in Resources tool (9/12/2006)

The user chooses the Resources tool, clicks the "add" link next to a folder, and selects "Citation List" from the drop-down menu of items that can be created in the Resources tool. The user can then enter a title (required for all resources) and optional comments (using the rich-text editor).

The user scrolls down anc clicks "Search Library Resources", bringing up a popup window in which the search form appears. Problems: the search form has settings that don't belong there (discussion needed).

After entering search term(s) and clicking "Search", results appear below the search form. The user can add citations to the list back in the main window, start a new search, or go to the next page of results. Problems: the results form does not show information about page size, total number of results found, etc. (discussion needed).

After adding a citation to citation list, the action link is updated to allow user to remove the citation.

The main window is also updated with the new citations. "Find It!" link accesses link resolver with openURL generated for this citation. Once the page size (default: 10) is exceeded, the next-page button is enabled. Problem: page size and other page controls not yet implemented in UI. Also, link to view of entire citation not yet implemented.

After going to next page of results, button to return to previous page is active.

Once citations have been added to CitationList, clicking "revise" brings up popup window with editor to make changes.

User can also click "Create New Citation" to bring up popup window with editor to create citations.

After user clicks "Add" button at bottom of the main window, the new CitationList has been added to the folder in Resources tool. User can change the CitationList by clicking "revise" link.
