  1. Sakai/OSP 2.6 Issues and Status (Bug fixes can be verified on the following QA servers Nightly Build (HSQLDB) or Nightly build (Oracle))
    • SAK-15929 Maintain able to use wizards without permission to do so. Outstanding, no longer in progress. Chris will put his patch on the ticket.
    • SAK-18515 Crash when canceling Manage status in Hierarchical wizard. VA did their upgrade, but any pages that have embed code (e.g., utube video) causes and error. Beth fixed this in 2.7 and the fix is back-portable. Beth will dig up Jira tickets and send them to the email listReported by someone in Sweden. Repeatable on 2.62. Probably a variable is not getting passed through correctly to tell it that it is in a Hierarchical wizard. Noah will ask Brian Dashew to have his people look at it.
  2. Sakai 2.7 Development Status
    • Status update: 2.7 QA Testing (The OSP Test Scripts can be found at OSP Test Scriptsand Scripts for Testing IU Enhancements)
    • 17854 two issues with one ticket. Problem with integration with assignments. Zhen has resolved this as of February. Beth will verify fix.
    • 17853 also marked closed by Chris, but no verification on the ticket. Beth will check this, too.
    • 18181 DB2 issue. IBM has committed some resources to this, but not clear what the status is. Last comments from April. Not an officially supported database platform. Noah will contact them to see what's going on. Ma
    • 18197 Coordinators cannot see unpublished forms in Wizards. Coordinators should be able to see all forms.
    • 19198 Lack of consistency between screens in Guidance Labels. Should be on tracking list
    • 18215 Groups not appearing in dropdown. Might be related to the intentional behavior of group support? Should be on 2.7.1 list.
    • 18346 Button missing from wizards on reflections and feedback. Beth has comment saying it is an inconsistency problem that should be fixed for 2.7.1
    • 2.7.0 tag pending... Conversion script issue has been resolved.
  3. Sakai 2.7.1 Development Status
    • SAK-18427 PermissionExceptions on startup of demo. Additional log messages.
    • SAK-18309 OSP permission helper UX mismatch. Chris reported. General Sakai community has moved over to using a more verbose permissions setting mechanism. Are there bugs in the 2.7 permissions helper? Lynn will get update from Megan.
    • SAK-17940 Auto-select of Portfolio Forms causing intermittent problems. Michigan still trying to arrange for cluster to testis continuing to hope to find the time to look at this.
    • SAK-14401 OSP Tools don't respect language/locale preferences (only when english English is not the default locale). We might be able to get patches from some Spanish universitiesBeth has checked in a good example of how to fix this. May be related to problem Jan brought up with French.
  4. Sakai 2.8 Development Status
    • SAK-16557 Indexes are missing on OSP tables with Oracle. On Still on Noah's listlong-term plate.
    • SAK-16693 Roster Synchronization (pending adding optional flag; test server review and trunk merge). Indiana has it on their list for this summer.Chris will be working on it this summer. Because of the mechanism used, if you say don't sinc, it only turns off the syncing in the UI. Needs more discussion when Chris is really working on it.
    • SAK-15547 Skip First Step of Portfolio Creation (if only one choice presented to user). Not a no-brainer any more
    • SAK-18559  Add support for email notification preferences in Matrices and Wizards (download design) Beth's biggest concern was that this leverages preferences in My Workspace preferences. Adds a widget to Matrices and Wizards about whether you want to receive digest, one at a time, etc. All the preference info is stored in My Workspace preferences. Should be sent to the User list. We should discuss it on the 28th of June.
  5. Sakai 3
    • Sakai 3 ePortfolio General Status Updates. Michigan is putting on a presentation at the conference on OSP and Sakai 3. Includes Sakai 3 form entry widgetsTeaching and Learning doc presented to Product Council, where it was received well.

    • Institutional applications of OSP (discussion/updates)
    • Sakai Conference updates. Tiffany will present on Page Composer. VA Tech will help out. Nancy, too. Lynn will talk about the IU reporting. Wed. night tech session. 2 hours.
    • Teaching and Learning (T&L) Group & requirements gathering. Josh and David Goodrum presented the facets and lenses to the Product Council. People are hoping to move into more practical work on Sakai 3.Documentation & Communication check out http://sakaiproject.org/features and http://sakaiproject.org/what-ospWe are highlighted in the Features section, and the what-osp area contains a lot of the info that was in osportfolio.org.There will be a session at Sakai Denver on Thursday afternoon on the process.
    • Status updates on OSP Help UpdatesBrian Dashew finished his stuff. Only a few things outstanding. IU has Help for all the changes in Matrices that they made which can be used for OSP help.
